Before setting up red desk in 2008 I worked in a variety of roles mainly in creative industries. I spent three years as Production Assistant on the Millennium Show at The Dome and then moved on to working for AMV.BBDO advertising agency, co-ordinating several advertising accounts and large scale international conferences.
These fast paced environments were a very good learning ground for gathering the skills required to be a Virtual Assistant and I thrive on being able to effectively help my clients at busy times and being able to turn my hand to whatever needs doing.
The best thing about being a VA is the varied nature of the work, I’m learning new technologies and ways of working every day, so it never gets dull.
In my former life before becoming a Virtual Assistant, I worked within the financial services industry. I spent over 10 years in Office Management and Executive Assistant roles supporting teams of between 25 and 50 people. The wide variety of duties I covered in my roles and skills I gained from running various committees at Thomson Reuters has more than prepared me for the world of the Virtual Assistant.
I love networking, meeting new people and the wide client base that I work with. I enjoy working onsite one day and then remotely on Social Media the next. I was a member of BNI (Business Network International) for 18 months and networked with similar-minded professionals which has proved fruitful to the business.
With over 10 years’ experience as a PA, my background stems from Media and Film Production.
I now enjoy supporting clients as a virtual and personal assistant, using my communication skills to have a clear understanding on how we can work well together.
I offer a variety of PA services including financial administration, WordPress content management, personal organisation, travel and Visa assistance. I particularly enjoy collaborating with the other Red Desk VAs and working on our clients’ Pinterest and Houzz accounts.
Originally from Barcelona, I have been working as an Executive Assistant in the UK for more than 15 years. I have gained extensive all-round PA and administration experience across a number of industry sectors including fashion, lighting and financial services. I have also experience in working closely with people from a variety of backgrounds and nationalities.
I specialise in document translation (English/Spanish) and international social media management. However, I also enjoy other general admin tasks such as organising events, designing PowerPoint presentations and creating spreadsheets.
I love challenges and I am always keen to learn new systems, programs and applications to broaden my knowledge base.
I have been a PA for over fifteen years, working within a range of corporate sectors including law, property and media. I’m experienced in supporting the various business needs of high level executives, HNWIs and organisations of varying sizes.
I have managed a range of stand-alone projects from office relocations and renovations, large scale corporate events and international markets. I also have over ten years’ experience in generalist HR matters, ranging in complexity from recruitment and selection through to redundancy.
I enjoy being a virtual PA as it provides the opportunity to work with assorted companies on a range of diverse projects, ensuring that I continue to utilise my existing skills whilst working with new clients and considering how best to support their individual business needs.
