We’ve recently launched our market research services.  Our new VA Emma has been researching a variety of topics for clients including entertainment for the corporate events industry, producers and manufacturing processes for a baby food company and sourcing data on local schools and nurseries.  Whatever the subject, we apply the same processes to collect valuable data.

If Red Desk are carrying out the initial market research for a client, it means that the business owner can focus on their core business activities.   We can conduct customer questionnaires, mail shots, direct marketing and personalised telephone calls and emails.  All the information gathered can then be collated into a concise, easy to understand document to enabling the SME to target specific market areas/potential suppliers and understand their customer base, consumer trends and what areas are likely to be the most profitable.

Market research is a very effective way of understanding your target audience, how well you are communicating and key insights into your brand. This information will allow you to gain a competitive edge in the marketplace and price yourselves accordingly.

We have a three step approach for our market research:

Phase 1: Data collection

You may provide us with a targeted list of companies for us to reach out to directly, or may simply specify a particular target market.  Our VAs will then source the required details into a contact database via word or excel.

Our VAs will make direct enquires with the relevant parties either by telephone or email.  The results of the initial contact will be recorded along with details of any further follow ups required.  It would be helpful to have anticipated any queries or FAQs that may come up, in order that our VAs can respond professionally and efficiently.

Phase 3: Feedback and review

Once customers/suppliers have been contacted and information obtained, we will collate all relevant information into a document for our client to review.  We will summarise overall trends, budgets, timeframes, return rates and any other key comments, in order for our clients to make informed business decisions.

We are flexible with our offerings so can provide feedback at any point, as directed by you, in the format of your choosing.
