This month we thought we’d take the opportunity to introduce all four Virtual Assistants that work as part of Red Desk, providing virtual business support to local clients. We all have varying skills and are therefore able to deal with any requests we receive.
Lindsay Miller set up Red Desk in 2008, previously she worked in a variety of roles in the creative industries; now she works supporting a variety of clients particularly with powerpoint presentations, excel spreadsheets, wordpress websites, blogs and social media. Lindsay also takes an active role in supporting all the other VAs on the team.
Mel Pretorius before joining Red Desk in March 2012 worked within the financial services industry. She spent 10 years in Office Management and Executive Assistant roles supporting teams of between 25 and 50 people. These days Mel is a keen member of BNI networking group and has helped build the business, gaining clients and professional contacts for Red Desk. Mel works with several clients particularly on web content and social media, she’s also a trained proof reader.
Jacqueline Goldenstein joined Red Desk earlier this year, prior to becoming a Virtual Assistant she worked as a freelance assistant in the film industry, this gave her all the skills required to be a successful VA. Jacqueline’s work with Red Desk is more of the classic PA role, helping her clients with everything from house moves to organising travel, scheduling meetings and events.
Lisa van Blerk is our newest member, she has over 10 years’ experience within customer focused environments, her recent focus has been on website development, social media and online marketing as part of a small web agency. Lisa is an all-round problem solver with a technical edge and has already taken on her first client using her problem solving to the max with a vast array of projects and tasks.
